Cookie policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This notice describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on bombacamillo.com (the "Site"), in accordance with the GDPR, Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian supervisory authority's Guidelines of 10 June 2021. The data controller is Digi Solution di Bomba Camillo, VAT no. IT02718170695 — me@bombacamillo.com. For the full notice, please see the privacy policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's device, where they are stored and sent back to the same sites on subsequent visits. Similar technologies, such as identifiers stored in the browser's local storage, may be used for the same purposes. The rules distinguish between technical tools (necessary for operation, requiring no consent) and non-technical tools (statistics, profiling), which may only be set with prior consent.
2. How consent works on this Site
The Site uses Google Consent Mode v2 with consent denied by default for all storage. On the first visit no measurement cookie is set: a banner is shown with equally prominent "Accept" and "Decline" options. Only by choosing "Accept" are the statistical cookies listed in section 4 and the marketing cookies listed in section 5 activated; choosing "Decline" lets you browse without any measurement cookie.
Without consent, Google Analytics only receives cookieless signals ("pings") with no persistent identifiers, used for aggregate, modelled statistics, and the Meta Pixel is not loaded at all (prior blocking: no request is made to Meta's servers). IP addresses are anonymised in all cases for Google Analytics. Google advertising storage (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) always remains denied: the Site uses no Google advertising tags.
3. Technical tools (no consent required)
| Tool | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
bc-consent-v1 | local storage (first party) | Stores the choice made in the consent banner, so it is not shown again on every visit. | Until deleted by the user |
4. Statistical cookies (only with consent)
Set by Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd.) exclusively after consent is given through the banner:
- Further information: Google's privacy policy · how Google uses data from partner sites.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Ireland Ltd. | Distinguishes users for statistical purposes. | 24 months |
_ga_XW4G9KFDWZ | Google Ireland Ltd. | Maintains session state for statistical purposes. | 24 months |
5. Marketing cookies (only with consent)
Set by the Meta Pixel (provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) exclusively after consent is given through the banner. The pixel measures the effectiveness of the Controller's advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (page visits, clicks on WhatsApp contact buttons):
- Further information: Meta's privacy policy · Meta's cookie policy.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Distinguishes browsers to measure the effectiveness of Meta advertising campaigns. | 3 months |
_fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Stores the originating campaign parameter when the Site is reached from a Meta ad. | 3 months |
If consent is withdrawn via "Cookie preferences", any Meta Pixel cookies already set are removed and the pixel is no longer loaded on subsequent pages.
6. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time:
- via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, which reopens the banner and lets you change your choice;
- by deleting cookies and site data from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all provide dedicated functions);
- by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on;
- for Meta advertising: the ad preferences of your Meta account.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Blocking measurement cookies does not limit your use of the Site in any way.
7. Updates
This notice may be updated if the tools used or the applicable rules change; the current version is always published on this page with the date of last update.
